‘Tis the season for many of these and with health restrictions lifting there’s a high likelihood you’re in for plenty of food this summer that doesn’t count as healthy.
But how much is too much?
“Canada’s Food Guide promotes eating more plant-based proteins, so maybe adding some peanut butter with your toast or oatmeal sounds good to you, or maybe sprinkling some nuts in your salad,” says Emilia Moulechkova, a Dietician from Northern Health.
