Whitney Port addressed concerns she is “too thin” — and admitted her husband, Tim Rosenman, is “worried” about her.
Although the “Hills” star noticed her Instagram followers leaving “a lot of comments” about her weight, she wrote on her Story Monday that she initially “chalked it up to people not knowing what [her] diet looks like.”
However, Port, 38, noted, “Timmy brought it to my attention, as a good husband should, and said it’s not just something strangers are spewing. He has been worried about me.
“I had to think about it and try to figure out what has been happening because it’s not something I’m consciously thinking about,” she continued.
When Port stepped “on the scale, it hit” her that she has been setting an “unhealthy example.”
She explained, “I eat to live, not the other way around. … I always feel hungry but I just don’t know what to eat. It’s not how I want to look or feel though.”
Port considers herself “too lazy to make feeding [herself] a priority,” adding, “I’m too picky when it comes to taste and quality. Both are unacceptable.”
The “City” alum, who promised Rosenman and her followers that her “health will be a priority” in the future, sparked concern when she posted bikini photos at a beach Thursday.

One Instagram user wrote that Port had achieved her abs by “not eating,” with others accusing her of a “starvation” diet.
She did not reply to comments at the time.
In 2010, the former reality star told OK! Magazine (via Daily Mail) that she “monitor[ed]” what she ate and, at one point in her life, consumed 1,000 calories a day.
“[That’s] as bad as it has ever gotten,” she said at the time. “It’s hard to have that balance of wanting to look good but stay healthy. It’s a push [and] pull.”
Eight years later, Port shocked She Knows readers when she admitted to never having tried pasta.
With an upcoming trip to Italy, however, she noted, “I think I’m going to actually try pasta there. I feel like I have to, right?”
The fashion designer is the mother of 6-year-old son Sonny and has suffered multiple miscarriages while trying to expand her family in recent years.
She and Rosenman, 46, have been married since November 2015.
