The start of September means summer is ending and the kids have returned to school. While it can be a struggle to keep the little ones entertained through summer without breaking the bank, the struggle of keeping costs low is still at the front of everyone's mind.
Luckily for families, there are a handful of locations across Devon offering massive discounts on meals. The national pub chain, Hungry Horse, has introduced the offer for families of four to eat for just £15 throughout the month of September.
After research revealed that seven in ten families would eat out more often if there were more cost-effective options available, the chain decided to offer families the chance to have affordable meals together throughout the month.

Now, at the Farmhouse and the Bath House in Exmouth and the Sloop at Kingskerswell between Newton Abbot and Torquay, families of four can eat out for just £15 at Hungry Horse pubs. The deal includes two selected adult’s mains and two kid's meal deals, with drinks and puddings included for the little ones, and families with more than two kids can also add up to two more children for just £2.50 each.
The offer marks the beginning of the back-to-school season and can be claimed all day, every day throughout the month of September.
Sarah Williams, senior marketing manager for Hungry Horse, said: “To mark the beginning of the back to school season, we’re doing everything we can to make parents’ lives a little easier and give families the chance to spend valuable time together.
“Our feed the family for £15 offer was really popular over the summer months and we’re delighted to now be extending it until September! The fun doesn’t have to stop when the summer holidays end, so why not join us?”
