For Blue the dog, food tastes better when it's slowly fed to him in spoonfuls.
One of the pampered pooch's owners, Victoria Elizabeth Moore, shared a video of the pet's mealtime ritual via Storyful. In the clip, Victoria's sister, Alexandra, holds a big bowl full of food in front of the canine, who lounges on a dog bed. Blue makes no moves to eat the food until Alexandra begins scooping it up with a spoon and feeding it to the pet.
"My sister spoon-feeds our dog every day from a silver spoon. The rest of the pets eat from their bowls, but Blue is too sophisticated for such things," Victoria told Storyful about the picky 7-year-old canine.
The video of Blue's fine dining experience continues with the dog gobbling up spoonfuls of food, licking his lips between each bite.
Alexandra told Storyful that Blue's unusual eating habits started by accident.
"I tried using a spoon once to feed him, and he preferred it. Now he won't eat from the bowl without the spoon," she said.
Blue is not the only dog particular about how they're fed. Zoey, a 14-year-old Goldendoodle and fussy eater, prefers to chow down on food that is "seasoned."
The pup's owner posted on TikTok how she seasons Zoey's meals. Instead of adding extra spices to the dog's food, Zoey's owner, Michelle Metrailler, seasons the food by waving a closed bottle of ranch salad dressing over it in front of the pup.
Finding out that Zoey enjoys invisible salad dressing on her meals has helped the dog's owner, Michelle Metrailler, convince the goldendoodle to eat her prescription dog food.

"Zoey is on prescription food for her sensitive stomach, so she usually needs wet food on top," Metrailler, who lives in Toronto, told PEOPLE about the dog.
"We ran out of her canned food, so we were trying to fool her to eat her kibble without introducing anything that could cause her to have tummy troubles," she added.
